I have been teaching since 2006, when I was the primary instructor for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) "On-line Undercover Investigations" course for 2006 and 2007 instructing nearly 200 agents. In 2010, I designed and began teaching a week long "On-line Undercover Chat Investigations" course. I have taught this course in various states across the United States. I have also taught various courses concerning the sexual exploitation of children all over the world; Mexico, Peru, Russia, China and Spain.
Kevin J. Laws
I retired on December 31, 2015 after nearly 32 years with the government. I have been in law enforcement in some form or fashion since my junior year in High school (Basic law enforcement at the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School). After completing 4 years and 8 months as a Military Policeman with the United States Army, I worked for a bit over a year in juvenile corrections and a bit over a year in adult corrections. In March 1989 I started my federal law enforcement career as a Marine Enforcement Officer with the United States Customs Service in Fort Pierce, Florida. Eventually taking a Special Agent position in Yuma, Arizona. In Yuma I started assisting other agents with the investigation of crimes against children. After 6 years in Yuma, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska where I investigated crimes against children full time and continued to work this crime type up to and until I retired. I have been fortunate enough to have instructed various topics concerning the sexual exploitation of children all over the world. To include but not limited to Mexico, China, Russia, Peru and numerous states all over the United States.
